All genres. Would love some good suggestions

Depends on the genre she likes. Romance, maybe a Nicholas Sparks book, crime, James Patterson or John Grisham are great.

Dark Rosaleen by Michael Nicholson is historical fiction about the potato famine in Ireland. Anything by Nora Roberts if she likes romance or romantic suspense. Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich if she likes funny. Sigma Force series by James Rollins if she likes action/adventure. Blue Heron series by Kristan Higgins for snarky romance. Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs for snarky supernatural. Cemetery of Forgotten Books series by Carlos Ruiz Záfon for mystery.

Good luck! I know it can be difficult choosing for someone else. ?

He also has a book called “When Crickets Cry” that you will go through a box of kleenex reading it. It’s wonderful, sad, funny, lovely and I will ever forget it.

Elin Hilderbrand-Barefoot, Nantucket Nights, Blue Bistro, The Beach Club. All of her books take place in Nantucket. They are great reads that always make me want to visit Nantucket!

Debbie Macomber- Last One Home (first book in series New Beginnings-series is great!), The Shop on Blossom Street (first book in Blossom Street series-love this series too). She has a TON of books and most are part of series. Such good heartwarming books. 🙂

If she likes historical fiction, I read an awesome series by Julia Quinn. It took place in the 1800’s and was about a family called the Bridgertons. A little romance mixed with humor. I really liked them!

I just read a really good one….I just hope it wouldn’t be too sad? It has many light-hearted moments too. It just came out. It’s called “I Liked my Life”. This is my review of it if you want to take a look? https://deesradreadsandreviews.wordpress.com/2017/02/26/review-i-liked-my-life/

“Small Great Things” by Jodi Picoult would make a great gift. I bought it for my sister and my mom. I wrote a review of it a few months ago: https://deesradreadsandreviews.wordpress.com/2016/10/14/review-small-great-things/
