@Leslie I don’t know that this was what you were looking for, but how about The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet?

Britt Marie Was Here might be a good pick. I haven’t read it myself, though it is on my To Be Read list.

When I moved cities for the first time ever, I read Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, and it really helped. It basically says, it’s okay to be scared, but don’t let it stop you from doing what you need to.

The only book I can come up with is Still Me, the last book in the Me Before You-trilogy. I do however think it was a wonderful book so if you’re up with reading the other two first I highly recommend it!
