I loved 19 minutes. That was my intro to her. I just read Small Great Things for a book club and it was really thought provoking. Looking forward to our discussion.
I have read all of her books. I love Plain Truth, 19 Minutes, Mercy (an overlooked book of hers), Leaving Time, The Pact… so many! The only one I didn’t really like was Lone Wolf.
I actually think Nineteen Minutes was my favorite. That or Perfect Match. I’ve also read Salem Falls, My Sister’s Keeper, the Tenth Circle, Small Great Things and Leaving Time. I did really enjoy leaving time but something about it came off “silly” to me which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it keeps me from making it my favorite.
Oh I forgot about her I couldn’t remember what I read but I went on a binge years ago. I saw what you all have so far and was like oh that’s good, ohhh that’s really good. I liked everything I read. I can’t remember a stinker. My that’s really good was the Plain Truth.
19 minutes was my favorite, but there are SO MANY others! My Sisters Keeper was my first, I full on sobbed! Salem Falls was good too. I don’t think she’s written a bad one ?
I love her books too. There was only one that was not for me. I think it was called The Tenth Circle or something. Had trouble getting through that one
My Sister’s Keeper. I liked 19 Minutes as well. There’s a couple of hers I don’t like, and I have found there’s a bit of a formula to her stories that make them predictable if you’ve read more than a few.
Since I’ve read them all… I would suggest reading them in the order written… may be interesting to see how her writing has evolved if you read them in close proximity!
Picture Perfect. My Sisters Keeper. Mercy.
Salem Falls and Plain Truth are good. However, once you start reading a lot of her books, you realize that they have the exact same formula ?
Agreed. I can only read one of her books a year for that reason. I did love the elephant book
@Laural I read Change of Heart after reading a few in a row and was like, “Wait a minute!”
I don’t like any of her books.
@Shelly I have a soft spot for Plain Truth because when they made it into a Lifetime movie, Mariska Hargitay was the lead.
Plain Truth is also my favorite because of Mariska Hargitay!
Small Great Things or The Storyteller
My Sisters Keeper. And Nineteen Minutes.
Plain Truth is my favorite.
It’s a good one! I use it in my classroom.
Plain Truth!!! Small Great Things, My Sisters Keeper, House Rules and Handle with Care are also great.
I loved 19 minutes. That was my intro to her. I just read Small Great Things for a book club and it was really thought provoking. Looking forward to our discussion.

My Sister’s Keeper. Movie is good too! My husband even cried!
Movie sucked! They changed it from the book,
@Laura He hadn’t read the book, but thanks for your negative comment on my post.
I love all of them. I would have to say ‘My Sister’s Keeper’ . The book is much, much better than the movie.

Oh wait if Picture Perfect was the amnesia one (not a spoiler) that’s my #1 fav.
I loved them all. Songs of the Humpback Whale was amazing. Leaving Time was one of my favorite books of all time. All of them are brilliant.
All of them
19 minutes was my favorite, but there are SO MANY others! My Sisters Keeper was my first, I full on sobbed! Salem Falls was good too. I don’t think she’s written a bad one ?
I love her books too. There was only one that was not for me. I think it was called The Tenth Circle or something. Had trouble getting through that one
Small Great Things
Plain Truth
Small Great Things is my favorite of hers.
My sisters keeper, followed by vanishing act
My Sister’s Keeper
Story Teller
And Small Great Things
All of them…. ???
Leaving Time was my fav
Perfect Match! ??
Listening to that one on audible now!
@Breanna hope your enjoying it…has a great twist, as her books usually do! Enjoy!
@Brandy I am past the twist (I think!) but still have about 2hrs of listening left! I’m enjoying it so far!
The Storyteller and Handle with Care were my favorites out of the ones I’ve read so far.
My Sister’s Keeper
The Pact, Plain Truth
I just finished reading harvesting the heart. Really good.
Plain Truth, My Sisters Keeper, Small Great Things
Small Great Things was SOOOO GOOD!!! I loved it especially because I’m a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
@Amanda same here! She did a great job on her research for the L&D nurse – you can tell she must’ve sat in on some shift change reports.
I liked Leaving Time, but really struggled to finish Small Great Things. I always finish books, but that’s one I really debated quitting 3/4 through.
It is a hard read.
The Pact – it’s what made me a Jodi Picoult fan
Me too!
The Storyteller – but I’ve read a lot and they really are all great!
All of them!
Yes! All of them! ❤️
Ok now don’t hate me but her books seem to be tear jerkers. So I have only read a few.
Small Great Things or Leaving Time…though I have yet to read one that I disliked.
The Pact
My Sister’s Keeper. I liked 19 Minutes as well. There’s a couple of hers I don’t like, and I have found there’s a bit of a formula to her stories that make them predictable if you’ve read more than a few.
The Pact and The Storyteller
Omg loaded statement. My sisters keeper, handle with care. And yes, the pact.
HOUSE RULES
I found this at Costco a couple of years ago. It’s a really great book!!!?
Agree with this, but I’ve read them all and most of them are a good read.
House Rules was my favorite..
Hands down, Leaving Time.
Oh I forgot about Leaving Time! Loved that one too!
All of them
Leaving time.
My sister’s keeper
All of them!
The Storyteller was SO good!!
I’ve only read Handle with care, but I loved it!! Just got 4 picoult titles from a second hand book sale for $1 each… cant wait to read them!
Buying this on your recommendation!
My sister’s keeper, followed by leaving time… But read the 2 short stories first that accompany leaving time! So very very good!!
Recently read Change of Heart. It’s good!
The Pact. It was my first and what led me to read all her books.
Since I’ve read them all… I would suggest reading them in the order written… may be interesting to see how her writing has evolved if you read them in close proximity!
My Sisters Keeper
Leaving time, the storyteller
The Storyteller was SO good!
