Pretty much all of Gillian Flynn’s are great psychological thrillers. Gone Girl might have been the most popular but my favorites are Sharp Objects and The Grownup
Still Missing, Never Knowing or Those Girls by Chevy Stevens (shes my fav), Third Degree by Greg Iles and Die Before I wake by Laurie Breton (these are pyscological thrillers)
I love these two scary books, Shadow Man by Cody McFayden and The Caller by Chris Carter. Once you start you wont be able to put down. I guarantee it!!!
I read Dark Tide by her and found the characters very artificial and the plot painfully weak, the author is said to have been a police intelligence analyst, well that is astounding.
Wow, this book comes up all the time when people are asking for a scary book. I bought it a while ago, but haven’t read it yet. I’m thinking I best get to it!
They seem to me to be two contrasting genres. Horror is usually based on fantasy and psychological anything on reality. Of course, people can like both chalk and cheese.
@Ashley it’s a paranormal type about bringing people back from the dead and people disappearing in their attempt to find the secret to doing so. It was really good. I blew threw it in like 3 days
