Overdrive. Hook it up with your local library and you can check out a lot of modern/new books for free.

Added benefit if you have a kindle, overdrive via library should be able to link to it

You can have multiple library cards, for instance , if you live in NYS, you can get NYPL and Brooklyn cards. In my case, these were better than my local system.

I use a website called bookbub, they send me daily email with either free or reduced price books.

First time I’ve seen ebook bike mentioned on here…..I’ve used it for years…..it used to be called tuebl. Great site.

Books.cat is also great – if you can’t find a book on ebook.bike, you can request it on books.cat.

i used iBooks for apple and Moonreader for android and get books from internet. (some said having them is illegal tho idk)

Goodreads Deals seems to have the most current titles at discounted prices of the 5 discount notification sites I follow.

Check your local library and download onto overdrive app or.kindle

If you go to Amazon and run a search on the type of books you like, sort the results by price. You’ll find that many of them are free.
