Light but warm, the Mitford Series by Jan Karon.
I like that description and it fits…light but warm.

Maybe go back yo an old favorite.
That’s what’s so great about the free books on Philadelphia free library. If I start a book and it’s not great, I just send it back and go onto the next one on my list until I fall into something great.
Try a different genre or an author you haven’t read.
YEah sometimes terrible books will make you not want to read any more

Me too… I’ve been having these reading slumps a lot this year, it’s frustrating, I still read other stuff but not the books I want to read.
I read armish books sometimes they are good

This too shall pass, I reread in a slump, John Sandford’s Prey series. I also listened to books in a slump. Lonesome Dove is an amazing book, Will Patton is a great narrator…
