Haha!! Three kids and a LOT of stuff going in two average size cars back to college in Florida!! I have some on audiobook for the drive from New Jersey… but those were on the top of my physical tbr pile… hopefully some beach or poolside time to enjoy one!!?

Just finished The Glass Castle. It’s riveting and you won’t want to put it down. Beartown was slow for me.

They will all hopefully get read before school in New Jersey begins (I am a teacher) but I am going to relate the comments and have them fit to this family journey and go with The Glass Castle as it seems relevant to parenting and family… it might spark some great conversation as we travel!!?
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn… it’s a perfect read in the spirit of sending your grown kids off to college, plus it’ll keep you occupied the whole trip. (Glass Castle I finished in about two hours in one sitting.)

Of the two I’ve read, I would recommend The Glass Castle over Beartown. I enjoyed them both but Beartown has a very slow start.
That seems to be a common response. That it picks up but it takes a while.
