Are you enjoying your current book?
No..not the book’s fault, though. Still loopy from post-op and pain meds. Can’t concentrate.
Feel better!! <3
Get well soon Vicki xx
Feel better Vicki xx
Hope you have a quick recovery, @Vicki, and a quick return to reading!
Hope you feel better ????
YES! Oh my gosh, I just started another incredible one. Check out this first paragraph: I have tried so hard to forget, but memory is a stubborn thing. Memories linger no matter what I do. They’re there all the time – and worse. Even my dreams aren’t safe. I have vicious nightmares, and they’re real – too real – and suddenly I’m back there. I can’t will them away, I can’t squeeze them away, and the more I try the more they burrow in my head. I want to cut open my skull and dig my fingers into my brain and just pull them out.
What are you reading??
Feel Me Fall by James Morris
Yes!!!!! I’m finishing it today!!!! ?
I started “A Monster Calls” at 5am this morning. Half way through and still not sure what to expect but thoroughly enjoying the journey so far!

Well, just to let you all know, I am using my books under the legs of my chairs/sofas and lifting them about 2″ just in case I get water in my house from this coming storm. Hopefully this wouldn’t happen, but just in case:(
So hope you don’t have water get in, not just for the sake of the books, @Lizbeth!
thanks Kathy – all is well.
Just finished Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. Loved it. Getting ready to start Wither by J.G. Passarella
Right now I’m reading three books and I’m really enjoying all three of them 🙂 I’m reading Calamity by Brandon Sanderson (starting to like that author..), The Legend of Shikanoko by Lian Hearn and a german Book called “Die Wand” by Marlen Haushofer – it’s a little like Under the Dome – suddenly some kind of wall cuts her off from the world, so basically she is the only human left. Rather a journey of the mind how to be alone – I’m quite enjoying that one , too 🙂
Just started my new read ….. with much expectation …. a true doggy tale….. Finding Gobi…. with my TBR following book … that is me sorted for a while ….
I’ve finished … Finding Gobi…..now for something a little meatier…. What a Carve Up….. looking forward to tucking in….

No, it’s a dreadful ebook that badly needs more editing but yet I still want to find out what happens to the really irritating characters
That actually made me LOL…sorry!
@Paula ? the writing in the book is making me lol ?.
Love Grave Peril by Jim Butcher, this book is all sorts of fun; will definitely read Grave Peril again in a few years. The Gunslinger is a not exactly flowing for me but I think that’s the style that Stephen was aiming for. And, I’m getting into the groove with Joe Hill’s The Fireman. So yeah, I am enjoying all of them 🙂
Guessing 18 month old currently not enjoying ‘Goodnight Moon’ before nap time as he has just flung it across the room…
Struggling with Monica Ali Brick Lane, have been for a while. Also reading Richard Montanari The Doll Maker, it’s good but it’s not really my thing any more, on Kindle I’m reading Marian Keyes The Break but I read Kindle in bed at night and keep falling asleep. But right now I can’t wait to get home to read Lynda La Plante Good Friday which will have arrived today!

Fabulous book… and can recommend … Night Watch… by S Waters ….
I’m always finished ‘Trollhunters’ & I’m conflicted, there are parts of the book that would work well in the animated series (although I have a feeling, one storyline from the book may appear in the next series of the animated series) & there’s parts from the animated series that would work well in the book ~ see? I’m very conflicted!☺️☺️
Started this one yesterday. So far I’m enjoying myself a lot 🙂
