I have to charge my Nook. I know there were a few questions at the end of the book specifically for discussion that I was going to use to get us started, but anyone else can start as well!
I didn’t see that at all and I pictured Jo like the smart quick talking and Carly are the ultimate mother type I never would have thought to put two and two together
I don’t think it clicked because there was nothing “supernatural” about the book. I mean, I know that not all ghostly encounters are surrounded by supernatural… but like you said, it just wasn’t expected. And I don’t think there were that many clues that pointed to that!
He definitely sounded like a typical alcoholic abuser. He rationalized his behavior by making it her fault, that’s why his only sin was cheating. It was alright to beat his wife, because she was the one who was wrong. As for her not leaving, at first, he promised it wouldn’t happen again. By the time she realized it was going to continue, he made her feel so small, she didn’t think she could do it without him. He made it impossible for her to live without him, as well.
Just finished so I’m ready haha
Perfect timing did you like the book
Loved it!! The ending surprised me!

Or wanting to kill her was ok too
