Personally, I only saw the first one so I cannot say whether they get better or not; however, I’ll admit that I *hated* the first film. What makes the books so captivating is knowing Katniss’s inner thoughts and there is NONE of that in the film. Also – the trailers have music in the background and much of the movie doesn’t have that music in it at all. It’s just a soundtrack they chose. All in all, not my cup of tea.

Loved the books!! I think the movies did a good job I’ve watched them more than once. Books are almost always better.

Not really, no. But they did a fairly good job (except the last movie—I was pretty disappointed in about 50% of that one)

To be fair, the third one was the most difficult to adapt.

No. I love them, but they’re not as good, and my favorite character from the books…Madge Undersee…isn’t even mentioned in the movies, let alone seen.
They are good. But like most book to movie, lots of small details are left out or changed for the screen. Still worth watching.

They aren’t that bad there are some things that could’ve been better but it’s all right in a long shot

I haven’t seen the final movie, but they’re one of the few based-on-book movie franchises I don’t absolutely despise. I still say the books are better, but I wasn’t totally insulted by the movie versions 😉

I watched the 1st ad 2nd movies first before read the whole trilogy and enjoy them both equally. I say the movies are good adaptation. 🙂

I didn’t even watch the last two movies, because I was so disappointed in the movies.
I loved both the books and the movies. I cried in the first movie and in the last movie. So the emotional aspect is still there.

Loved the books, thought the movies were okay.
I loved the books and watched all four films. The first film was okay, the second was pretty good, the third was slow and boring, and the fourth was very accurate and the most accurate out of all of the films. 🙂
NO! I left the first one mad as heck it was So bad. I expected the others to be bad. And, they were. Books were awesome, I couldn’t put them down.
No but they are decent. The books, as usual, are way better.
The movie is NEVER as good as the book, but Hunger Games did pretty well for an adaptation.
