Robin hobb is leagues above all. Fitz and night eyes. On point. Shes brutal to her chaacters but also draws you in

Robin Hobb is amazing, well worth reading. I enjoyed ken Follett too, he isn’t as emotionally engaging as Hobb and there’s no fantasy element but very easy to read. Hobb is in a league of her own.

Love love Robin Hobb, can’t race enough about her, when you start to read her stuff start with the Farseer trilogy first

I found her books super depressing. Felt sorry for the characters…

I don’t think these two can even compare to Hobb to be honest. As with the two previous comments, they are leagues below her writing and vision.

Robin Hobb is a wonderful fantasy writer. I haven’t read Ken Tollet’s work.

April Cour Have you tried Patrick Rothfuss? He has 2 books out so far….supposedly out of 3 but I could see it going further….”The Name of the Wind” and” The Wise Man’s Fear”….unfortunately this third book is starting to feel like George RR Martin! ? But otherwise I give it a huge thumbs up!! Lots of twists and turns and still trying to figure out who the real bad guys are!!

Not really as Ken follett is not really fantasy but historical. Robin Hobb is very different as well as she writes more standard where Martin doesn’t

Love Hobb. Feel so drawn in by her writing. Had tears in my eyes reading the end of the Fitz books
