Yes! I’d say the best way to tackle his books is to break them down by their series (which includes no more than 5 books). That way it won’t be as intimidating.
They are a lot but they’re so easy to get into and read! I’ve read all of the Percy Jackson series and all of The Heroes of Olympus series this year! I’m going to try to read all of them at some point!
Oh definitely for the Percy Jackson &Heroes of Olympus ones. Kane Chronicles was pretty cool as well. Have read the Magnus Chase trilogy but they were meh….and having a hard time getting into the Apollo ones right now.
Try reading the Percy Jackson series 1st. It’s a lot more fun and enjoyable to read than the Norse. I would have had the same opinion as yours if I read Magnus Chase first.
I’ve read the Percy Jackson books as well as the heroes of Olympus set. I loved the first book for Magnus Chase! I’m not sure what’s causing me to struggle with the second. >.<
Hah! Right. I know what you mean. The pace was a little slow with that one, and the 2nd book of Apollo, as well. Maybe because the adventures were less daunting than PJ and HOO series. Riordan gave his best in those first books.
And not just Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus series’, the Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and Trials of Apollo are are great too (though I’ve only read the first book in Trials of Apollo so far)! Look up the reading order so you read everything in order, or go by publication order 😀
Absolutely! I’ve read PJO, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo. I also read Magnus Chase, but for me they were kinda boring. I must finally read Kane Chronicles. ?
I just started down the Percy Jackson series and I am really enjoying them. So I would say yes. I am close to being done with The Lightening Thief series and cannot wait to get started on the next group of books.
I am grateful to Rick Riordan because he got my son hooked on both mythology and reading. However, as an adult, I got tired of his books because I could see all of the plot twists coming from miles away and I got tired of the constant escapes from near-death situations.
YES!!! They’re amazing. I’m not extremely into the trial of Apollo series, but even that is good. 10000000/10 would recommend anything by rick Riordan or under his imprint Rick Riordan Presents
Yes yes yes!!!!
Yes. I love his world
I’m actually about to reread the Percy Jackson series so then I can read the Heroes of Olympus series.
They are all so good! Definitely worth it

I couldn’t get into PJO honestly, I read the first two books and i love Greek mythos but I’m not sure what I disliked about the books
Yes. Except for Magnus Chase. Not too fond of that or the Egyptian books he wrote.
Totally agree!!!! I read all his books and loved them but for some reason Magnus and Apollo were so blah to me.
I’m a fan of the Apollo ones, but Magnus Chase feels like Percy Jackson 2.0, now with SJW.
I loved the Kane Chronicles! Super excited to read the Magnus Chase ones too
@Courtney I def enjoyed the Kane chronicles although I don’t think I finished the series lol

theyre really good (hoo is,,, a bit of a dud) but tbh rick needs to leave the universe alone its dragged on too much
I am grateful to Rick Riordan because he got my son hooked on both mythology and reading. However, as an adult, I got tired of his books because I could see all of the plot twists coming from miles away and I got tired of the constant escapes from near-death situations.
