Books are soo engrossing and movies are incredible
In my opinion I don’t come over at any difference..
Books are better, the films especially goblet of fire are too rushed
I know the books are best selling but my friends says, these are kids movies.

Sometimes an escape to the surreal is also a necessity. Also HP clearly lets out a strong message, survival of the fittest, a war between your worst enemy and yourself. Without even u knowing before you grow up u are somebody searched for to kill. Am sure kids’ movies or books have this, according to your friend. ?? @Safi
Movies r not that much childish.. They are very good.

For me the books are give so much more for the imagination to work with. However the films were a very good interpretation of the books. In another words both are magical

The books are totally magical the films miss out so much im 39 and i still read the books and fall in love again with them every time.
The books are sooo much better. I don’t even know how the movies make sense without the books.
The further you get in the Harry Potter movies, the overall less they are like the books. The last movie has a different ending regarding the bad guy. They filmed multiple, apparently decided not to put out the alternate scenes.
Till 3rd part it can still be watched. After that it’s complete trash I feel.
After Prisoner of Azkaban? I still like Order of the Phoenix, if nothing else they used excellent imagery for the newspapers and bad guy.
Well then may be because my favorite part is Prisoner of Azkaban. ?

The books are much better but I feel they did a good job of getting as much of the books as possible. Still some changes, but I say to read the books.

The movies do deviate from the novels as they get further along.
Books give sooooooooooo much more, than movies… Even thought i LOVE HP movies <3 due to Actors doing exactly they are meant to do in book.
Still book gives a far more insight into different things, for example WHY Tom Riddle became Lord Voldemort, and how prophesy could mean for some other person as well.. I was amazed to read books, and now they are like my reading slump reads <3

The books are 1000% better than the movies. There are other stories apart from Harrys’ that are just as interesting. Theres more character development for all the individuals. Needless to say i didn’t like the movies one bit
