I LOVE true crime. But I find that at the used bookstore I go to new releases are hard to find. They just put them all together. They don’t display new releases.
Victoria, I thought it was fascinating that he took bredit for killing Jimmy Hoffa, what do you think? I think he did! I think it happened how he said, but who knows?
Zodiac by Robert Graysmith is one of the best. Also The Hunt for the Green River Killer by Carlton Smith & Thomas Guillon. You should follow that with Green River Running Red by Ann Rule. (I’m not a big fan of her writing but she does a really, really good job here giving voices to the victims.)
Helter Skelter was really good. I was reading Anne McNamara’s “I’ll be gone in the Dark” when they caught the Golden State Killer… I was really caught up in that one.
The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule
@Morgan ooh I’ve got that on my bookcase, haven’t got round to it yet, thanks totally forgot ?
@Morgan I agree ???
Also Small Sacrifices, but…all her books are good.
Killers of the flower moon
Unnecessary Roughness by Jose Baez and all american murder by James Patterson.

@Jackie is correct…Michelle McNamara ( I mixed that up with Anne Rule)
In Cold Blood
Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas is very good. He interviewed all the big serial killers.
Yep. Great book. One of the first criminal (serial killer) profilers.
The Last Victim by Jason Moss is good. Actually a book if ‘interviews with serial killers’ (mainly John Wayne Gacy..creeepy.
No. That star makes your post look so special
Ice Man – Philip Carlo
