The Anne Rice book? I found it interesting. Lasher was more so to me though. I wasn’t overly fond of the Mayfair Witches series though… and I loathed Blood Canticle (for reasons I won’t say because of spoilers), but that’s just my personal taste. Overall I usually enjoy most things Anne publishes.
Anne really turned up the freak dial for that story. I loved it, but I don’t know how she conjured up all that weirdness. She was on her (A) game back then.
I’m listening to it on audio at the moment and loving it. I’m about 21 hours in, it’s 50 hours long. I’ve the books a few times before but it’s a good few years since I last read them. I havent read Blood Canticle but I have read the early vampire books. The newer ones hadn’t been released when I read them so I’m thinking I might go back and read them ?
