Much love for The Chronicles of Narnia! I loved them as a kid and thought they were flawless. As an adult, there’s still a lot of charm, though it’s CS Lewis’s quaint point of view, not Lucy’s, that reads as naiive. His worldview didn’t age well. But hey, it’s fantasy! Had the box set as a child and loved it, I’ve reread it two or three times since and I still like it, perhaps more for the nostalgia it provokes rather than the books themselves. The religious overtones are much more obvious as an adult.
