The beginning of the chemist is “uncomfortable,” but as the story unfolded I thought it was clever and surprising. It’s got a cast of unconventional characters that ended up working well. My 2 cents.
I couldn’t put it down! Loved it. I was concerned because although I loved Twilight, I couldn’t get into her next book The Host at all. The Chemist was awesome!
I didn’t like it at first, but I did later.

I didn’t even realize she wrote another book, lol. I tried so hard to get into The Host, but hated it, so I’m wary of reading anything else of hers.
