After many of recommendation, I started reading it and really couldn’t get into it . maybe it was too gentle for me or slow, I have no patience for slow books .maybe I ll try it again at some point.
I m happy to read that other ppl didn’t enjoy it either. I thought I was a lone voice! I think I just can’t concentrate well at the moment and need real page turners to ensure I ll get past the first chapter.
I finished it and I’m a bit disappointed to be honest .. Lovely written and a lovely back story but SPOILER ALERT …… The daughter never got the closure she needed

Beautifully written and i loved it, but it wanders rather than gallops along. I found it a welcome break from fast paced thrillers.
