I enjoyed Mistborn but his other standalone books like Elantris and Warbreaker were better to me. Mistborn was really good though!

He is just an amazing writer. After you read this series read his Stormlight Archives. I will always love Vin, but the Stormlight Archives are so good. You will tear through both series.

Amazing fantasy series. Great characters, very interesting magic systems. Great worldbuilding.
Sanderson has been my favorite author since 2006, so I am biased.

@Christian seems like I’m missing out not having read anything by him! ?

You should definitely try him. He’s very prolific. Has several series going at once, and usually publishes a few books a year.

When you become familiar with his work, you’ll learn that most of his works at part of the same Universe, known as the Cosmere. Different series are subtly connected, and over the years the connections have become more apparent. One day he plans to tie it all together. And now I’m going to shut up. Lol

Hahah. Sounds appealing – now I def need to go back and find more of his work to read 🙂
Please don’t shut up, I love it when people are this passionate about a book(s) or an author – I myself is like this. Somebody has to sell this idea, to read his books 😉

I liked it a lot. Guys LOVE IT and I’m like, yeah it’s pretty good fantasy.

The second era I didn’t think I would like, but I got TOTALLY invested in the main characters relationships lol I’m happy with how the third and most recent book is taking it. It’s a lot funnier than the first series. I’m going to try out his other worlds soon

Love Brandon Sandersons books, love how most tie together in his “Cosmere”. I had to use the attached guide to find different areas to jump in.

I read the series years ago and loved it. He does a great job of world-building! Actually, I read the trilogy. Apparently there’s so much more! 🙂
