I found the book frustrating because, i just kept thinking the whole way through for them to just damn come down from the attic ?…. it wasn’t like they were locked up there ?‍♀️

I read May be the first 2, but they made me so angry that I quit. My button issues are child and animal abuse and torture of men and women, just won t read it. People 21st how can you read about vampires and werewolves, ECT and be afraid of that; I am not afraid just despise the behavior so much it makes physically ill.

Read them all and the heaven ,dawn and ruby series. She died in 1986 and the family bought in a ghost writer. Never read any of the books after that

Loved all Virginia Andrews read them in middle school, they weren’t the same once she died and Andrew Neiderman became ghost writer following her death in 1986.

They are disturbing don’t get me wrong but still an awesome read and a real eye opener in how certain circumstances can be that terrible

I really enjoyed the first couple, but I was burnt out by the fourth. I just couldn’t get into it. I still haven’t finished it.

And whatever you do, don’t watch the Lifetime movies they made based off the books.
