I have read all the ones presently on Kindle and for me they would definitely be best read in order.

Agree, before this series I (aged 73) have never read 2 books from the same series back to back but these I have been reading 2 or 3 after each other.

Have only read one of which was further into the series and I did feel like I was missing out slightly about not knowing more of the main characters personal history.

I loved them all. Take it steady and don’t rush through them. You’ll only be disappointed at having to wait for the last batch to be published!

Her books are brilliant, have read all of them published so far, and am waiting impatiently for the next! Great writing with believable situations and lovely main characters.
