I named 3 cats Ashley Ohara and butler after gwtw characters. They lived long lives. Ohara passed in June at age 20. I named my dog faith after the character in keeping faith by Jodi picoult. My dog is named scout after the character into kill a mockingbird

When I have kids, I’ll call them after literary or any fandom characters but in an unconspicious manner so they can act as normal names and only I and maybe my friends will know the true origin

She’s my absolute favourite character throughout the series. My boyfriend is skeptical because of what the TV series has done to her, but I’m hoping the books won’t be quite as bad to her.

My daughter was going to be Catherine Elizabeth (Jane Austen references there), but she just wasn’t a Catherine. We went with Rebecca (family name). My son’s name is a family name, no literary references there!

But we named our dog Arwen!
