@Stacey I’ve got littles so I mostly only get to read during nap time…or else it’s board books ?

I know the feeling @Stephanie. My son is now 5, so some if my reading will be with him. But you don’t have to read the entire time. It is really just a challenge to yourself to make time for reading during that 24hours. At least that is how I do it. I’m too old for all nighters.

Yeah, what’s a readathon? (On a side note, my phone corrected “readathon” to “read a thong” ??)

A readathon is like a marathon but for reading. Usually it is a set time frame where you challenge yourself to read as much as possible. This readathon is set for the 24hours of March 3rd. You can find more details about it here. https://youtu.be/H-hHKGkxUwo

Yay! I might start tonight, but I definitely won’t be able to stay up. My husband is giving me a day off from mommy duty tomorrow so I can read uninterrupted.

How about an 8 hour readathon? I can manage that on the weekends occasionally 🙂

Considering my power is out due to the major east coast storm, I have nothing to do BUT read! Curled up under a warm blanket in front of fire with a reading light attached to my book.

I have not been doing so well. Fell asleep last night after reading for only 30mins and didn’t get started until late this morning. I finished The Girl With All The Gifts just now. Such a great book!

I read almost 200 pages in In To The Woods, but I needed a break. So I read my very first graphic novel. Volume 1 of Saga. I really liked it and so I read volume 2. Bad news is that it put me in the mood for Sci-fi, so I ended up wasting time looking for a regular sci-fi novel. I finally decided on Cibola Burn and I’ve read 50 pages. Going to bed now. I feel good about my day. It was fun. I will figure out my stats tomorrow

Okay so I have finished caraval now. Just in time. So in total I have read 703 pages in 24. Making a total of two books and finished a third. Considering I slept and watched a film in between that and didn’t get up that early, I’m proud haha xx
