I haven’t read it but some friends and I were just talking about it. My friend is currently reading it and doesn’t care for it. She said she doesn’t really get the hype and finds it boring.
I wasn’t a huge fan either. There were a few nice points but overall, I thought it was contradictory and from a very particular perspective that I don’t find relatable.
That is a great description on how I felt about it. Just not impressed and everyone I know raved about it so I expected great things and I couldn’t relate to it at all! Other than being a mom, I didn’t get any other connections.
Hated it! I thought it was one long (not so) humble brag by the author. Oh, by the way, did I mention I started and run a multi-million dollar business ALL BY MYSELF?! ?
EXACTLY!!!! I told my husband she tells her story and how she did these simple things and now she’s a millionaire and her husband quit his job to be along her side. It’s just that easy!
@Andrea the girls from church and Mother’s Day out were going crazy for this! Like saying how inspirational it was and I read it in a day and didn’t feel inspired.

I read it and it was ok. I like “You Are A Badass” more.
