Anyone else ever dream of being an author? I seriously can’t write at all. But a girl can dream, right?

I just published my first novel this year, it was really exciting and it’s doing really well. I got it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart and it was just accepted into two libraries. If you really want to write, then just do it, do it over and over and you will find your own style.

Wow! Congrats!!

I have tried writing so many times and I can’t even get a single paragraph down. I struggle to think of any ideas. It really is hard for me.

I would suggest you don’t start out trying to write a book, just start doodling ideas. Think of some topic in life that you love or hate ie: maybe you love volunteering somewhere or watching your kids play, maybe you hate seeing people be cruel to each other. Anything at all is fine then just start penning your thoughts about it. Don’t worry about spelling, grammar, or what others will think of it, it is only for your eyes. Follow where ever it leads you, you may be surprised at how many pages you can get out of a single idea.

I’ll admit it is much more involved then I initially thought it would be. The writing for me is something I truly love, the editing and marketing, not so much lol

@Kelly you should use an audio recorder and just start talking about things. Then you can put them in sequential order later and use your idea to create your memoir.
