If you’re talking about Artemis Fowl, my son just finished the whole series. He has always loved it. The library never has them all so we just bought all of them.
I am currently reading this by alternating the physical book with the audiobook. I am not yet halfway through. So far, the quality of the narration of the audiobook is less than awesome- she really needs a dialogue coach.
Read the physical book and it was so bad. Andy Weir does not understand how women think

I didn’t like it as much as I loved The Martian. But it was okay. The narrator for Artemis really made the book.

The book was so good!!!! I don’t know about the audiobook though.
I read it, not listened. It was good. Not great the way “The Maetian” was great, but good. Is it a bad narrator?

I have been laughing out loud and I really enjoy the informative science stuff… so maybe it’s just not for everyone.
I read reviews that said he totally missed the mark on how women think. I think just like this… I am immature at times and say/think inappropriate things just like a 15 year old boy. Maybe not all women think alike.
Totally agree. I enjoyed the science talk which was why I liked the book. Also, I’m surprised they criticized his writing of the main character. I definitely think like that and I loved seeing a strong woman in a book for once!
My adult daughter loved it on audiobook. I haven’t read it yet.
I loved The Martian so I’m tempted to try this.
I enjoyed it! Not the best book I’ve ever read, but I don’t regret reading it through to the end. It hooked me about halfway through and then I couldn’t put it down.
I listened to the audible version and thought Rosario Dawson was fantastic! Unfortunately, her narration was the only thing that really kept me listening. I thought it was quite predictable.

I didn’t mind it, it was ok, but it doesn’t compare to The Martian.
I read it and although it wasn’t brilliant I enjoyed it.
