Have you tried the collectors series ? By Dot Hutchison. It starts with The Butterfly Garden. & then it’s The Roses of May and then The Summer Children.

It’s SO GOOD.

You could easily read them out of order but I wouldn’t recommend that Bc they do have moments where they reference the first book ( in 2 and 3 )

Rainbow Rowell!! I love her books. A good place to start is Eleanor & Park or Fangirl.

I wanted to read Eleanor and Park so bad but after I read Fangirl I’m hesitant.. ?

@Mariah if you didn’t like Fangirl you might not like the rest of her books. She definitely sets a specific mood in her books. But I suppose it depends on what bothered you about Fangirl.

I didn’t like Cath as a character, her and Levi’s relationship was weird and awkward (especially when the were reading on the bed?) over all I think the anxiety representation could have been done better but I didn’t hate the book. It was just alright.

@Mariah then you might give Eleanor & Park a try. That might tell you whether you should keep trying. Another option, Landline is rather different than her YA books. You could try that one first.

*shameless plug* I have the first of my fantasy trilogy out. It’s called The Thornless Rose: Fire Blush. My main character is named Viviana, a lord’s daughter from the Kingdom of Dragoonus. She has some amazing abilities but she is scared she will kill someone she loves if she doesn’t get herself under control. Check it out at https://www.amazon.com/Thornless-Rose-Fire…/dp/B01LYJ1MQ3
