Awesome @Val! It is one of my faves. If you want a taster of the characters/team from Snatched, try @Graham‘s novella #TheMajorCrimesTeam …quick read, fabulous intro to the team and some cracking short stories to get you set for Snatched!!
me too, though struggling to get round to reading them all. I’m still trying my best to work my way through Stuart Macbride and Peter James books as not long started reading their work.
I am unashamedly going to blow my own trumpet – A Barrow Boy’s Cadenza by Pete Adams – crime thriller that will make you laugh – have a look at the reviews
I’ve nearly finished this book and it is really great – it’s genuinely funny, not forced humour in any way – and the characters, especially Jack, are wonderful!
I can recommend @Alison book Sewing Shadows together and an author who should be on here, also a part of tartan noit, @Theresa and her book Penance – both different, both brilliant reads
In the spirit of eschewing self-promotion, I will refrain from highly recommending the multiple excellent thrillers and crime fiction published by Bloodhound Books which can be perused here; http://www.bloodhoundbooks.com/books
Have you tried @Graham, @Col or @Mike yet!! Superb reads. @Alison is brilliant. So is @Michael and @Michael and @Douglas and @Craig and @Alexandra and @Stephen….oh don’t get me started LOL.
Haven’t tired any, so will make a start. Thanks Noelle.x
Thanks for the recommendation @Noelle. I could talk for days about my favourite crime fiction authors/books too.
Thanks Noelle x
Yay @Val! You will not be disappointed!
I’m on a panel at Newcastle Noir with @Graham and @Col – really looking forward to that!

@Alison right you’re definitely on for a drink at CrimeFest…thanks for that…
I can’t recommend my books (as that would be self promotion) so I’d say try Jake Needham or Jørn Lier Horst,
Nil desperandum Alex Shaw. I’ll add you to my list.
🙂

The three we have helped to be reviewed have all been highly rated by the reviewers.
It was Bloodhound books that got me reading again, Fred. Saw a flyer on FB for Death and Deception, which got me restarted!! Thank you.
That’s good to hear @Val and what a great book D&D is. I can see that it would have that effect!
