Any suggestions for books suitable for 11 year olds? My friend’s cousin is in hospital and she wants to send her some.

The selection serie
My daughter (11 also) just had the Scholastic Book Fair at her school and her three must haves were Lucky Luna, Beastkeeper, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Her other favorites are Fablehaven, Wonder, Chocolate Touch, and she will re-read Grimm’s Fairy Tales over and over again!
Goosebumps are always fun too!
When I was 11 and didn’t care to read much (not that this applies ?) my mom got me Harry Potter and it changed my whole attitude on reading! If she hasn’t read them, great time to start! Hope the cousin feels better soon!
Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Selection, Lunar Chronicles, A Touch of Gold
I agree with the Selection Series. Also, anything Rick Riordan or Shannon Hale. The Lunar Chronicles would be good too, and A Touch of Gold, of course!
Nevermore, the lunar chronicles, the song of the lioness quartet, wrinkle in time, upside of unrequited, greisha trilogy
