The Happiest Baby/Toddler on the Block books are great for formal info! The dvd for Happiest Baby is great for learning how to soothe them!

Nurture Shock was very informative with new research on development (without being dry). I also liked Simplicity Parenting. My TBR list includes Whole Brain Child.

My favorite parenting book thus far is It’s OK Not to Share by Heather Shumaker. I’m really looking forward to reading Simplicity Parenting next.

So you’re going to be a dad… was a funny one. Dealt a lot with pregnancy and the beginning part of a new life.

I’ve read the boys one (I have 2 boys), and found him to be spot on about ‘raising boys’. A friend has read the girls version and says it’s really good too. He lectures a lot in this country (UK) and Australia (where I think he comes from). I don’t know whether he’s well known in the US?

I’ve really enjoyed Kevin Leman’s. Especially “Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours” and “The Birth Order Book.”
