Any recommendations on a series to read this year?

Going on vacation. I usually sit on the beach and read a YA series. Any recommendations on a series to read this year?

The Grisha trilogy, starting with Shadow and Bone (followed immediately by Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom) by Leigh Bardugo! I’m also in the middle of Pierce Brown’s Red Rising series. The Raven Cycle by Maggie Steifvater.

Cosign on Throne of Glass as well, though there are still two more books forthcoming. I also really like Mass’ other series, A Court of Thorn and Roses, too! I was also greatly surprised by The Summer I Turned Pretty, as well (though I have not read book three yet).

Others I have loved: The Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray; The Shades of Magic Trilogy by V.E. Schwab; The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer; Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir (though the third book is forthcoming and the second ends on a cliffhanger, be forewarned!); Cassandra Clare’s Mortal INtruments and Clockwork series; I’m finding the Jackaby series by William Ritter to be delightful; Something Strange and Deadly Trilogy by Susan Dennard; and also, randomly for me: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I don’t usually read those types of books, but I took a recommendation from someone in my book club and I was delighted!

Have you read the Pretty Little Liars series? I got the first book for my daughter to read a few years ago, and wanted to pre-read it first. I actually enjoyed it! I’m on book 8 or so, there are so many in the series, but I feel like I have to finish it now. Lol. I read these when I want a quick, easy read.
