The way my Gram is describing her current one, it doesn’t sound romantic. I think it’s called “Chasing Christmas” by Terri Blackstock. She said it is comical.
I’m currently reading a Cozy Mystery called Slay Bells…it’s a bit…interesting so far, I may or may not like the genre of cozy mysteries ?? (not sure if it’s the book or genre I’m kinda meh about).
The Other Wise Man, by Henry Van Dyke. Copywrited 1895. Short story or novella. I am no longer religious, but this story can still bring tears to my eyes. It’s about what the season is about: love and compassion.
Other then A Christmas Carol the first thing that comes to mind is The Christmas Pig: A Fable by Kinky Friedman. Whenever I see or hear chick lit I think of the gum.
Dave Barry has one. I can’t remember the whole name, Walter the Christmas Miracle Dog is in there somewhere.
Last Christmas in Paris: A Novel of World War I
