@Stacy thank you. I read the first chapter if prince of thorns and felt like there would gave been a prequel series. I will try it again and get further in. Thank you!
Loved that series, but yes, it’s dark. I think the darkness made the series. The main character does get more redeeming as the series continues and at the end he’s actually a hero. Which is kinda a cool thing to see happen
Yes it’s dark, but very good! Jorg was a very intriguing character although not very endearing I still couldn’t help pulling for him throughout the story.
One of my favorites!! A bit dark but interesting. I actually love Jorg
It’s awesome! Keep reading!
I want to read it. Just not sure what order to read the series of that world in.

@Scott then after this trilogy read The Red Queens War. Same world and coincides with this trilogy
@Stacy Thank you. That helps a lot. Appreciated.
@Scott no problem. Enjoy
I enjoyed it. It is dark yes, but a good story, well written imo.

It’s one of my favorites. Great world-building, very imaginative, and especially great if you’re a geek for geography in a post-apocalyptic world.
I didn’t enjoy it but I think it was just too dark for me.
