At least 1/3 of what I read is non-fiction. I recently read Devil in the White City and thought Sin in the Second City was a far more entertaining book.
@Saulo How mad would this make me? It sounds good but I also just finished Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and I don’t know how much more angry reading I can handle this year. ?
I read a mix. Mostly fiction but I love non fiction. If you haven’t read Hillbilly Elegy, do. I’m halfway through it and loving it. Also, I loved I Am I Am I Am and You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me. I also read history, mental health/psychology and a mish mash of other topics. Whatever catches my interest.
I love biographies true crime … history … Bill Bryson travel books at the moment reading .. That Woman the life of Wallis Simpson The Duchess of Windsor by Anna Sebba
Yes, 99%. Some fiction is worth my limited concentration, but I can always find something interesting in non-fiction and I don’t have to read the whole thing. I have many interests, cooking, fitness, philosophy, spirituality, psychology, textile arts, meditation, etc.
It is a book that gives generalized accounts of people with unusual traits unique to their biological makeup. A man who can’t forget anything, a woman who gets lost everywhere including her own home, people with Cotards, etc. It’s more subjective than scientific, but is still an interesting book.

Oh Biophysics Grad/post-Grad.
I love both.
I read a lot of nonfiction to research information for stories I write.
I read more non-fiction than fiction; partly for work but mostly because there’s so much to learn.
@Susan me too.
Non-fiction is my go to, always. Fiction upsets me because inevitably at the end I’m sad it’s not real.
I usually read digital and with fiction, the end is at 100% or near it.
A good nonfiction usually ends like at 70%-80%, because of the notes, bibliography/references, etc ?
I do both
I read all sorts of books. I don’t have one genre
Yep, I read non-fiction too.
I read whatever catches my attention. My last non-fiction book was ‘The Gathering Storm’ by Winston Churchill. A powerful book!
