Okay, so lately i’m a big fan of A.G. Howard. I love roseblood by her and just ordered the splintered series. She’s way underrated. Rainbow Rowell is awesome too. And Jennifer l. Armentrout, the selection series is good if you want a light read. The sweep series is one of my all time favorites and currently I’m reading three dark crowns which is pretty awesome as well and the second book will be released in about 3 months.
I’ve read YA books off and on for 30 years and managed kids / YA in a bookstore. I was shocked how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the next one in the series. Highly recommended
For brand new I would recommend Trials of a Teenage Werevulture. Little older, Glimmer by Trica Cerrone
