Richard Laymon is good. And I always appreciate a good Ray Bradbury!
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, a YA crossover but very scary
Have you read The Hallowed Ones by Laura Brickel? Zombies and the Amish. So good. The Harvesting by Melanie Karsak is also walking dead AND all kinds of other paranormal stuff. Really good.
Have you tried Joe Hill? NOS4A2 and Heart Shaped Box are my faves but all of his are good.
