The Difficulty of Being Good by Gurucharan Das, Gitanjali by Rabindranath Tagore. Also Ramayana & Mahabharata, the latter being my most fav epic
Shilpi Somaya Gowda who wrote The Secret Daughter and The Golden Son. Both are excellent books but Secret Daughter is my favourite of the 2.
So far I have read only one book by an Indian author and that is Immortals Of Meluha and I liked it.
