I’ve heard so many people say this. I own a copy at home and think it’s high time I actually read it. I happen to love the classics so I’ll probably be a big fan.

I have read them all. There is also Moby Dick, 10,000 leagues Under The sea, When Worlds Collide, The Caine Mutiny, Battle Cry Barnes And Noble had a special section for classics. You should investigate that. Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote for children but I loved her pioneer books.

I didn’t read through all the comments, they were probably already suggested, but I like more modern classics. Of Mice And Men, The Catcher In The Rye, Little Women, And Then There Were None…

Actually, I don’t believe these were, aside from Little Women.

A Raisin In The Sun as well. I haven’t read To Kill A Mockingbird or The Grapes Of Wrath yet, but I intend to someday. Most of these books are ones that I first read in junior high. But they’ve stayed with me all these years. Oh! Not really what you’re looking for, but I remember reading and LOVING Bridge To Terabithia and Tuck Everlasting in school as well. I highly recommend them if you haven’t read them yet.
