Have read all the Eddings books. I miss him. He was the reason I turned to fantasy. Clive Cussler, his Dirk Pitt and Steve Austin books. Tried the other series and didn’t like them as much so don’t read them.

David Eddings has some great fantasy series. Characters are very well done.
I tried to stick with The Wheel of Time, but got lost in all of the subplots around book four. Haven’t revisited.
Personal reasons for never trying Cussler. Just never going there.
