Any book recommendations for 4yo girl? She likes Junie B. Jones books and the Magic Treehouse series

My four-year-old daughter just started reading chapter books. She’s really into the Junie B. Jones books and the Magic Treehouse series. Any recommendations? Thanks everyone!

I was just about to recommend this series. Great for early readers and it has colored pictures! It’s about a pig who loves buttered toast.

I haven’t heard of these, but love that author!

There is a spinoff series called Tales from Deckawoo Drive too!
I’m a children’s librarian and today I was reading Mercy Watson Thinks Like a Pig with some kids in my afterschool program…. We were all giggling and laughing so loud I’m afraid we might have disturbed some patrons!!

This is my personal opinion as a teacher, librarian, and mom of adult daughters. I despise Junie B. Jones. I long for the day my director lets me get rid of the entire series!!! Junie has an attitude problem and needs to be held accountable for her actions!! If I get Junie fans, I try to steer them towards “Horrid Henry ” series instead. Henry gets in scrapes like Junie B, but Henry suffers consequences for his actions, where Junie does not! Henry’s family does not excuse his behavior because it’s “cute”.

That’s just my pet peeve, but all my mom patrons have heard it, so you can too! Lol!
