She was my mom’s favorite writer, hence, I’ve read all her stuff, because mom would always say “You have to read this!” and I would, so we could talk about it together. The Stranger Beside Me is one of the best true crime books ever written.

Lucky you. I saw her interviewed a few times on TV. She struck me as a very calm, down to earth kind of woman. I would have loved to have met her. I enjoyed her books.

I met her, and her dedication to her writing was amazing. She wrote 7 days a week. When asked what she did for fun she told us she went to Value Village.

I got to meet her when she was touring after she wrote the book on the Capano case. She was a fascinating person. Sad how a couple of her children treated her in the end. She deserved better.
