Amazon (or USPS) lost a package for me from Jan 2. They finally called it “lost” and shipped a new one, supposed to be delivered today, but is now delayed due to winter weather. * sigh *
My book arrived just now but not before I was in a pharmacy and bought a paperback by Clare Mackintosh about whose child was kidnapped/killed ? And she feels responsible. That was all I could get. So now I have two books.
If you have Prime and it was a Prime purchase, call/email/chat with them and they will extend your membership by one month every time a package is late.
I tried to go Kindle years go and have one for emergency or long travel but I love the feel, smell, touch, everything about paper books. My husband won’t read paper!!
Was never a fan of Nook – tried to like it, but, too much glare!!! Now, have a KINDLE PAPERWHITE with a LIGHT (?) that is directed up into the fonts, NOT out at your eyes ? ?! So night reading is a joy. Still read cloth books, so, have the best of both worlds❤️
I feel your pain. ??

Agree Amazon doesn’t let me down but the post office does. I complained to Amazon and they said they were aware and fixing it is a high priority
Shame on them.
How frustrating. That’s another reason I like Kindle, instant gratification.
I am such a book hoarder I can’t imagine not having a ‘next book’ on hand. Not that that is a good thing.

Time you went kindle. You’ll be like “OMG I can’t believe I didn’t do this years ago.”

Yep! And no more hurting shoulders from carrying all the books!
