Am I the only one who doesn’t seem to really enjoy the TOG series? Starting book 4 and its just, meh.

I’ve seen soooooo many in here praising the series so figured I’d give it a try. I mean, the storyline and everything is decent.. But I can easily stop reading.

Book 3 almost made me wanna quit. It was kinda repetitive at times.

I just felt like book 2 and 3 were completely different from the idea in book 1

I just got a little tired of it being about her being in the kitchens or getting her ass kicked during training. I skimmed through a decent amount of book 3. Lol

Not my favorite. Book 1 was okay, but lost interest after that.

Glad I’m not the only one then. I’m only really finishing it because I don’t like to leave a series unread unless it’s absolutely awful.

Then don’t read it.

If it was complete shit then I wouldn’t. It’s tolerable and I always finish a series I start unless it’s complete shit.

I was not a fan of book 1 and I stalled halfway through book 2. It seems like book 3 is where it really gets cracking but ??‍♀️??‍♀️

I feel like people either LOVE SJM or HATE SJM lol I personally love her. I prefer ACOTAR series but I do love TOG too. But I know it’s not for everyone. And that’s okay. ??

I’m with ya! I was a dedicated fan from book one, read each book as soon as it came out…UNTIL Book 4…that shit rest totally lost me – I’ll probably still finish the series one day…eventually…but if I don’t ever get to it I don’t think I’ll be all that bothered

SJM is the Stephanie Meyer of this era and the latter’s writing now seems more tolerable if I compare them side by side.
