Am I the only one who can’t read Liane Moriarty without picturing the main character as Reese Witherspoon?

I’m leery of reading her because I watched the series without reading the book. When I do that, the characters automatically look like the actors.
I have never watched the series but Liane is my favorite author!!
I really like her too!!!
I have never pictured Reese as any of her characters.
@Dusti did you watch Big Little Lies before reading the book?
@Cynthia no. I haven’t watched it. I only read it. ?
@Dusti the series is really good. I recommend it. It’s a bit different, too, plot wise.
@Cynthia I don’t really watch much tv. ?
I love them both, but after watching Big Little Lies (twice!) and then reading the book, I can’t stop seeing her main female characters as Reese! It’s hilarious and weird!
I don’t.
I was lucky, I read the book first.
@Trisha I had no idea what a wonderful storyteller Moriarty was before watching that series. Enjoying reading all her books now. Have you read Nine Perfect Strangers yet?
Not yet! Its on my list. 🙂
@Trisha mine too!
What book and show are we talking about??
@Kelly Liane Moriarty, Big Little Lies.
@Cynthia it’s a show? On regular tv or netflix?
@Kelly HBO. It’s a series. Reese Witherspoon is taking novels by women writers and producing these great series from them. They’re really well done.
