When I’m within a hundred pages of being done, I start carrying the next book. When I finish that one, I start on the next one.

Depends on if I am reading a series. Reading a series, I start right then. Stand a lone books, anywhere from a few hours to the next day. I have a hard time going without book in hand.

Depends on how stuck I am on the story I just read.
Sometimes it’s the next day and sometimes I just reread the book again because I enjoyed it so much and I’m not ready to give up the story.

It depends on how long I have the book hangover. Sometimes I pick up the new book straight away, sometimes it’s a few days.

Depends, if it’s a series, I have the next book ready by the time I start the last chapter. If it’s not a series, or the end of a series, or a series but not yet complete… Then I give myself a day or two to decompress before jumping into the lives of a whole new group of characters.

Depends what time I finish. If I finish before sleep then I start one the next day. If it’s early in the day I may take a break for a couple hours then start another. Depends how emotionally drained I feel too ?
