It’s not anything like her other books so I wasn’t a huge fan. I thought she tried too hard to bring certain topics (social media, sexual harassment etc) into the story. It was all a little “in your face” in my opinion.

Yes! I went to an event she did in Nashville where she really delved into her reasons for writing this book and what inspired her. Knowing those things made me love it more.

No spoiler: it didn’t end how I thought it would so I’m a fan. I really don’t like predictable endings.

Yup, predictable endings ruin the book for me!

It was good, not her best. Reviews have used the word “riveting” to describe this book and I would never call it riveting… entertaining, maybe.

It was a fast read and I enjoyed that it was a little bit of a departure from her other books.
