He has another series just like it except I am blanking on the name. Fall of Giants is the last book I think. Wonderful. Also, Edward Rutherford’s books. I think I have that right. The one about England is Sarum and there is one called Russka that I enjoyed alot
Rutherford – Sarum ignited my love of the Salisburury Plains. Anything by hI’m is good but be aware that he can be a slow start (like Michener – another author you might like)
Poland by James Michener….The Physician by Noah Gordon…Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset …A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness…In the Garden of Iden by Kage Baker…Absolution by Murder [Sister Fidelma mysteries] by Peter Tremayne…
Cathedral by the sea, by Ildefonso Falcones, followed by the sequel The Heirs of the earth. The Spanish Follet when it comes to Historical fiction. He has other 2 novels not related to the former titles. I second Rutherford and Hilary Mantel.
Have you read the rest of the trilogy?
He hasn’t. I didn’t know it was a trilogy. Thanks.
World Without End is the next (and my favorite if the three.) Anything by Ken Follett is great. Pope Joan is another good one.
