If you don’t like it after chapter 9, you’re not going to like it. I think it’s one of those books where you’re either in or out.

We’ll see. I’m going to give it another few chapters and see

I loved it! It does get better but chapter 9 is pretty far in. If you still don’t like it, I probably wouldn’t waste any more time on it.

@Renee it’s dry humor. Lol.

@Teresa sort of like woman in the window. I found it boring mostly but I stuck with it. I liked the ending so I’m hoping for that in this book. A lot are saying it gets better so I’ll finish it. Most loved woman in the window too. So idk what is wrong with me ??‍♀️

I didn’t like her at first, but you’re not supposed to. She obviously had a bad upbringing and the book is good about showing her realising she needs to change, but the difficulties that entails.

I could only take it in small doses, but I was curious enough about what had happened to her and her mom to keep going. I’m glad I stuck with it, but honestly it was mostly because I’d paid full price for the book. ?

I loved this book. It is a real character observation piece. More about the person themselves and their journey than an actual story. I find people fascinating so loved being in her head.

She changes throughout the book and it was interesting (to me) to see how she realizes her faults and tries to become a different person. It made me re-evaluate how others see me and how I may come across to others in life, as well.
