I found it hard going and only finished it because it was our 3D book club choice a few months ago! But my husband loved it so a bit of a Marmite book.

it’s not true that I didn’t enjoy it, @Heather, I just found it quite hard to follow, I loved the now time, and I loved hearing what he did in the past, but I found it quite difficult to hold all the characters in my head, I am actually going to start at the beginning again, I think it will make a great film.

Thanks everyone-what a great response-have gone with majority and put it down. Started citadel by Kate mosse-haven’t read the others in the set so hoping I will understand what’s going on. Have read the first couple of chapters and def more interesting than 100 years

I actually liked it. It had an element of Forest Gump which I found quite charming.
