It might not be your thing if you’re finding it unpleasant. It’s unpleasantness is steady throughout.

99% of what I read is YA. But I read this and it was ok. Not mind blowing. If you’re not feeling it, don’t waste your time.
I found it an unpleasant read too. I persevered to the end, but wish I hadn’t bothered (and I usually like books in this genre) ?

Yes! It’s a disturbing read but still good! And I think very unfortunate that there are people out there who find themselves in situations where their spouse becomes someone they don’t recognize.

I loved it and yes, it is disturbing. However, if you’re half-way through and still not ‘enjoying’ it, then perhaps it’s not for you x

Which one did you read? The one by BA Paris or Elizabeth Haynes? I read the latter which was a good read and a different story, have heard mostly poor reviews of the BA Paris one.
I wondered this – I’ve still got the one you gave me to read! ? The other one is not good!
I commented on the BA Paris one, which I absolutely loved! Couldn’t put it down, even when it was 3 o’clock in the morning and I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer!
BTW there’s a third one with the same title by Kathryn Croft which is meant to be brilliant too! x

If you’re having a hard time stomaching the plot, I’m not sure anything we say can make it worth reading. However, I did indeed love the book and was satisfied with the ending if that helps.

I loved this book so much it’s by far the best I’ve read in the genre. I’d say stick with it. It did stress me out a lot and I had to put it down a few times but the ending for me stood out.

I found it incredibly predictable. Two chapters in I knew the ending and I flipped to the back and I was right.
